Alexis LaBure
(409) 960-9341
Alexis LaBure is a former pitcher at Nicholls State University, a Division I program in Louisiana, where she competed for four seasons in the Southland Conference, earning multiple Southland Conference Pitcher of the Week honors and being named an All-Southland selection. She made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2018, finishing the season with a 14–6 record, a 2.52 ERA, and 121 strikeouts, helping lead Nicholls to its first Southland Conference regular-season title in 22 years. Injuries toward the end of her collegiate career limited her performance, but Alexis believes that this pain was meant to have purpose by leading her into coaching and mentoring young athletes. She has now been coaching for over five years, prioritizing injury prevention, mental health, and maximizing the potential of every athlete she works with, and is currently offering pitching lessons in the Houma–Thibodaux, Louisiana area.
Why did Alexis choose to join Tincher Pitching?
“I chose to join this organization because I felt I was doing a disservice to my athletes by not continuing my education, and I truly felt God leading me toward Tincher specifically. My goal is to help my athletes maximize their physical potential while also developing their mental game. Tincher has provided all of that and more. I am so grateful to be one of the few who get to work with this outstanding organization.”
Here is what Denny says about Alexis.
“In a word, respect. The very first time that we talked, I was impressed with her drive to be the very best for her students. At first, I thought she might be too serious about that goal, but then her sense of humor began to reveal itself, now she keeps me on my toes, and I know that she is just right for our organization. She will represent us well in so many ways.”
