A year ago, our daughter’s pitching coach relocated and we were in need of a new instructor. I had always been interested in Tincher Pitching “Fluid Dynamics” but most instructors were several hours away. I found out that Abby Tincher Davis had moved closer to us and we were thrilled for the opportunity. Denny and Abby both went above and beyond to answer questions by email and phone as we decided to make the transition. While there were some bumps in the road in the beginning, after a few months and a clinic with Denny, our daughter was all in on Tincher Pitching. One big difference was finally understanding why she was doing certain movements and not just being told and shown what to do. Now a year later we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Her velocity, accuracy and movement all increased while her pitch is so smooth and looks effortless. We have always used the phrase with our daughter “dream one size too big” but with Abby and Denny they take her big dream then develop a plan to push her past her goals. I highly recommend Tincher Fluid Dynamics and would recommend going to a clinic to see the difference for yourself.

I’ve been working with Denny since I was about 13 years old. He has always been there for me through the ups and downs of my career and has always led me back to good mechanics! Now that I’m out on my own as a professional, Denny has helped me back on the path of reaching my highest potential while prioritizing optimal and healthy mechanics. I still love working on new pitches and things with him every time I see him! I feel like this is only just the beginning, I can’t wait to see where I can end up with him helping me! I am so thankful for all the years and time he’s spent with me.

My Granddaughter had a back injury last year and her softball coach recommended that she consult April Damron Charles about the Tincher Pitching method. She began lessons in March 2020 and immediately noticed that, not only was her back pain diminished, but her pitching arm did not require taping before games to reduce elbow and shoulder pain. The transition to a new way of pitching has presented some struggles, but her speed has increased, and her placement is consistently accurate. Our family is so pleased with her progress. We definitely recommend the Tincher Pitching Method to any pitcher looking to increase speed, accuracy, and reduce pitching stress on muscles and back.

My daughter has been taking lessons from her Tincher coach for over three years now. It's amazing how many comments she gets from teammates and other coaches on the efficiency of her motion. Tincher has really delivered on the promise of teaching her effective, fluid mechanics, tailored to the female athlete. I also can't say enough good things about her coach, Laura, and how committed she is to the success of her pitchers. It's truly a partnership between coach and pitcher!

Our 11 year old daughter has been working with Angie Buckem for over a year and she has made tremendous progress in her pitching, self confidence and overall athleticism. We love the constant innovation that Angie and the Tincher Pitching system brings to help evolve her pitching. As this is not a one size fits all approach, Angie delivers customized instruction that builds upon our daughter's strengths and improves upon her areas for development. We particularly like how Angie explains the WHY and not just the HOW when it comes to pitching mechanics and how she keeps the lessons fun and engaging.

I have been with Tincher for two years. I love the technique and everything about Tincher. I have felt so loose and I have picked up so much speed. I have developed some amazing pitches. I now can control what my body does and I am always aware of everything i’m doing. Thank you Tincher Pitching.

Our daughter went in with no experience, but a drive for excellence. Tincher Pitching quickly turned her passion into a reality. It has provided her with the mechanism, velocity, skills, and confidence needed to tackle any game.

Jonathon is one of the most invested teachers I have ever seen. My daughter has been with him for the past 6 years. His compassion and investment in not only her, but also every kid he sees is unmatched. Jonathan understands that not all kids are built the same and is able to find their strengths and weaknesses and build them into the best pitcher they can be. He is proactive in staying ahead in his art, always researching and making connections with others in the field to in order to develop his students into elite pitchers. His background in aeronautical engineering allows him to talk with his students about what they need to do with their bodies to make a pitch perform. We attended a Tincher pitching summit a few years ago and an instructor stated whoever wanted to learn how to throw a rise ball to see Jonathan. Over half the students there went to him. Shows that his reputation precedes him! Jonathan takes the time to get to know and understand each of his students. He works on the whole athlete both physically and mentally. I would challenge anyone to find a better person or instructor in the country.
