Keri Munn is a Manchester, Tennessee native and graduated from Coffee County Central High School. She is a previous Tincher Pitching student and took lessons from Abby Tincher Davis, Denny Tincher, and Laura Rothrock. She led Coffee County high school her senior year to the farthest they have ever gotten in state tournament leaving with many accolades. She was District 8-AAA Pitcher of the Year, All state, All region, TNSCA Middle Tennessee All-Star, AAA Miss Softball, and recognized as a high school All American. She played Division 1 softball at Middle Tennessee State University where she pitched on big stages against big teams like Alabama, Stanford, Mississippi State, and pitched MTSU to their first ever ACC win against Boston College. She is a Conference USA champion and has on the road to the College World Series regional experience.
In 2023, she experienced a lower back injury that eventually kept her from playing the game, so she medically redshirted her senior season. She realized she wanted to stay in the sport and give back to the game that made her who she is today. She is offering lessons in Manchester, Tennessee, which is about an hour away from Nashville.
Why Tincher Pitching? Keri chose to join our organization as a pitching instructor because she knew if she was to teach young pitchers, she wanted to teach them with the style that she has believed in for years which is Tincher Pitching. She believes this organization is continuously making a big impact in the world of pitching, giving young girls the best chance at succeeding at what they love doing.
What does Denny say about Keri? “This was an easy choice. Over the years, as a student, she always worked to get better, never satisfied to stand still. When we started training her to be an Instructor, we were blown away with the way she thinks and her dedication to the kids. She is smart, inquisitive, and always thinking two steps ahead. She will be great!”
